SCADRA is
a small, friendly Riding
Club mainly comprising horse owners and their families who live in and around the parishes of Stoke Climsland,
Latchley, Treburley, Callington, St. Dominic, Gunnislake, Bray Shop and Harrowbarrow in Cornwall (UK).
Our aim
is to have fun with happy horses.

The Club was reinstated in
October 2005 after becoming dormant due to the Foot & Mouth outbreak in
2000 - 2001.
After 5 years September 2005
saw our bid to
modify a trio of old lanes in Stoke Climsland parish from footpaths to
bridleways resulting in a Public Enquiry. The lanes
finally received a
modification order to be upgraded to bridleway status. This seemed an ideal
opportunity to bring together local riders and their families, build a good
working relationship with landowners, maintain our new bridleways and have a bit
of fun with our horses.
We now have over
80
members and SCADRA is still growing! The
appointed Committee Members meet on the 3rd Thursday nearly every month at
The Duchy
College, Stoke Climsland and all members are welcome to attend, especially if
they wish to make a suggestion or have a problem with their off road
access.
